Perimenopause, Menopause, Burnt Out or just surrounded by Idiots?

Understanding where you are at is based on symptoms – NOT a single blood, urine or saliva test. A blood test can exclude other conditions.

Perimenopause normal ages for symptoms to occur 35 – 45 years of age. When your period becomes 6 mths or more apart, symptoms can intensify or accumulate.

Menopause normal ages of full menopause 45-55 – average 51 years * Menopause is a date – the date you have achieved indicating 1 year since your last menstrual period. Then, the very next day, you are ‘Post Menopausal’.

Post Menopausal – is the rest of your life with symptoms lasting 4.5-9.5 years after your final menstrual period.

Peri and Post Menopausal symptoms can include:

Hot flashes – day or night

Light headedness

Heart palpitations

Headaches or migraines

Irritability

Depression

Feeling unloved

Anxiety
