Experience
After 26 years supporting children and their parents through the education system, I noticed there were more nurturing needs in the classroom than academic achievements. My concern for student challenges at school took me to the support sector for children with special needs. My experience in education provides invaluable insight for families and teenagers.
My counselling experience includes working with IDCARE as an Identity Theft and Cybercrime Counsellor and RELATIONSHIPS AUSTRALIA as an Addiction Counsellor.

Professional Integrity
My search for understanding, insight, and evidence, through two Counselling degrees (Diploma and Bachelor of Counselling), has contributed to me becoming an ‘Integrative Counsellor.’ My toolbox is deep and uniquely individualised to each client.
My professional dedication includes commitment to the Australian Counselling Association (Member 13863) and the Australian Social Workers Association (Member 495893). This maintains ethical responsibility and ongoing development toward my holistic person-centered approach.

Social and Community Values
With a Master of Social Work, I am inspired to look wider and consider you wholly, allowing space for individual influences including culture, ethnicity, gender, or religion. This helps me consider appropriateness of interventions ie. instead of suggesting ‘there is a different way to think of this’, together we consider ways to manage, navigate and become empowered in the community in which you live.
